Backup Frequency and Schedule #

CyberWAF performs automated, full backups of your entire account daily.

• Frequency: Once every 24 hours.

• Timing: Backups are typically run during off-peak hours (usually midnight to 6 AM server time) to minimize impact on site performance.

Data Retention Policy #

We ensure you always have a secure recovery point available:

• Retention Period: Backups are stored externally for 60 days. This allows you to restore your site to any point within the last two months.

• Storage: Backups are stored on separate, secure infrastructure, ensuring data integrity even in the event of a catastrophic server failure.

What is Included in the Backup? #

Our automated backup is comprehensive and covers all necessary components for a full site recovery:

1. All Website Files: Everything in your public_html directory (HTML, PHP, JS, images, themes, plugins).

2. All Databases: All MySQL/MariaDB databases associated with your account.

3. Email Accounts: All email account structures and stored emails.

4. Configuration Files: Crucial files like .htaccess and zone records.
